Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) is a Regional Rural Bank established in terms of provisions of Regional Rural Banks Act 1976 & is sponsored by United Bank of India. BGVB has been established with the amalgamation of erstwhile Mallabhum Gramin Bank, Gaur Gramin Bank, Murshidabad Gramin Bank, Nadia Gramin Bank and Sagar Gramin Bank. This bank is sponsored by United Bank of India & Owned by Govt. of India, Govt. of West Bengal and United Bank of India . The shareholders of the Bank are Govt. of India (50%), United Bank of India (35%) and Govt. of West Bengal (15%). ==Bank structure== The Bank is operating in 11 districts of West Bengal State with its Head Office at Baharampur, Murshidabad, West Bengal. It has 583 Branches and 1 Extension Centre within its commanding area.
